Evidence-based Measures of Empowerment for Research on Gender Equality (EMERGE) is an initiative focused on measurement of gender equality and empowerment. The platform is designed as a repository of measures and resources for survey researchers and practitioners working on development, program monitoring and evaluation, and for consideration of state or national indicators.

EMERGE is a flagship initiative for the Center of Gender Equity and Health (GEH) at the University of Califorina San Diego.
